The Revolution of the Hot Tub Spa

For many years, thousands of years in fact, people have enjoyed the benefits of hot tubs and bath houses.  Not only are these relaxing benefits, but therapeutic ones as well.  For years, the Roman Baths provided not only a place to take care of hygiene, but a place to meet with and chat about social events, the neighborhoods, and the business and politics of the day.  Many of the houses were also filled with the shops, the restaurants and the galleries of the times.  Also, throughout history, many cultures have recognized the healing effects of hot soaks, be it for the mental time or the body time.  Soaking relieves mental disturbances such as stress and depression and sleepless nights, to the physical disturbances such as tense, sore and aching muscles.  Many physical ailments are aided along by the use of water, cool and warm soaks alternately.  Now, due to a revolution of sorts, many more people are feeling those benefits.

Hot tubs are more efficient now, and more affordable than every.  Just by checking out the inventory to be found at the site choosehottubsdirect.com, you will find that there is one that is just for you.  No matter your space, should you live in a small location there are many two person hot tubs to choose from, and if you will be regularly hosting parties, much larger models are available as well.  At one time, the hot tubs were expensive and made of wood.  But since the 1970′s the technology has been improving by leaps and bounds.  People still enjoy their wooden spas, but the newer materials deteriorate less rapidly and are much more convenient to take care of.  Whichever model you choose, you will enjoy many relaxing hours in your own backyard paradise. You will find sleep a common occurrence and relaxation throughout your workweek.

Night Club Scene in Austin

Jeanine was really looking forward to visiting her best friend Claudia in Austin, Texas last summer. The two friends had not seen each other since the summer after their college graduation when Claudia moved to Austin with her boyfriend. Claudia was worried about the move at the time, not because it was Austin that that she was moving to but because she had to admit she was only moving there to be with her boyfriend Mike. He was bass player in a blues band and they received a job offer at a local club to play there regularly. Mike didn’t feel he could pass this up and Claudia agreed to move with him. She had a degree in library sciences and had not yet found a job so she justified the move by saying she hadn’t really gotten started on her career and Austin seemed like as good a place as any to do it.

Well, she was partially correct in her decision. Within a month she had gained employment with the Austin Public Library and she really enjoyed her work. She also loved the city itself and was happy for Mike because it had an incredible music scene and she felt there was plenty of opportunity for him. Unfortunately, that turned out to be true but not regarding music. Within two months of living in Austin Mike found someone else whom he claimed he fell in love with.

So, while Claudia had landed a great job and really liked the city she also landed a quick broken heart. This was particularly difficult to deal with because everywhere she went live band seemed to be playing and reminded her of Mike. It was no conciliation that his band broke up and Mike couldn’t find work as a musician so he was bartending at one of the clubs. Claudia simply tried to avoid that club and every other one to avoid running into him and his new girlfriend. She was also extremely happy that her friend was coming to visit and poured out the whole story immediately upon meeting Jeanine in her room at one of the Austin luxury hotels. Jeanine insisted they search the club scene so she could get a look at Mike’s new girlfriend and report back to Claudia. They toured Paradox, the Elephant Room and Antone’s Nightclub on the first night but found no sign of Mike. Jeanine reasoned that they would cover the entire town before she left but they would have to hit more places each night to do so.

History of Broadway New York The Great White Way

What do we know about Broadway? Well, we know its in New York and all the major plays are performed here. We know its every playwright’s greatest desire to write a play that will be performed on Broadway and every actor’s desire to star in that hit play. What else is there? Well, this wide avenue, thus its name, is the oldest thoroughfare dating back to the first New Amsterdam settlement and runs north and south through the entire length of Manhattan and then extends on into the Bronx. And a portion of this old thoroughfare is where the American theatre industry lives and breathes. Did you know Broadway was originally just a trail in the heavy brush, chiseled away by Native American Indians? Hard to picture isn’t it? When the Dutch started arriving, this trail soon became a major road through the area and over the centuries this trail became the Broadway we know today. Just like everything, it had to start somewhere.

If you are here visiting, what do you hope to get? Well, my guess is theatre tickets Broadway New York. What a thrill. What an experience. Many hotels offer guest incentive packages that include tickets to a Broadway play. How exciting to see The Lion King, Hamlet, the Phantom of the Opera, or White Christmas. Or maybe you have already been to one of the theatres and seen one of the timeless classics. You haven’t forgotten that performance I’m sure.

Even just taking a walk down Broadway is an exciting adventure. Watching all the people, seeing the marquees and the names of the famous actors performing there. Can you ever forget the enticing aroma of the restaurants and little sidewalk venders? There is an excitement and electricity that fills the air. Even the noise adds to this famous streets very being. Yes, you’ve come a long way, Broadway.
